Community Group Description
A 60 Hectare village Common.
The village Common is one of few remaining in NSW and has been actively managed by a local Trust since 1870. Used for agisting cattle and for recreation including walking, dog exercise and horse riding, it’s recognised as a significant site of natural heritage with remnant eucalyptus and natural temperate grasslands and is home to a number of endangered species.
