The Gundaroo Common is a 60 hectare parcel of NSW Crown land situated on the eastern edge of the village. Established in the 19th century to allow families in the village to keep a cow for milk, it is now managed by the Gundaroo Common Trust for recreation and environmental conservation as well as for grazing.  The area of land supports threatened species and ecological communities and is highly valued by our community.  The Common can be accessed via gates at the eastern ends of David Street, Harp Street and Lot Street and via the northern boundary with Rosamel Street.
