The Gundaroo Scout Group was Community Group of the Month .. Click here to find out why…
1st Gundaroo Scout Group has in place a COVID-19 plan for the safety of all our members. In accordance with guidance from NSW Scouts with effect 27 August, we are able to hold weekly meetings in our Hall, with appropriate precautions. All overnight activities are currently suspended.
For members and friends not comfortable in attending face-to-face meetings, the Scouting@Home page is full of wonderful ideas. It is available below
Welcome to 1st Gundaroo Scout Group. We are part of the worldwide Scouting movement, and currently offer activities to boys and girls in the Cub and Scout sections right here in the village. We meet during the school term at the Community Hall in Gundaroo Park.
Cubs (aged 8-11) meet Tuesday nights from 6.00pm to 7.30pm
Scouts (aged 11-14) meet Monday nights from 6.30pm to 8.30pm
The aim of Scouting is to encourage the physical, mental, social and spiritual development of young people, so that they may take a constructive place in society as responsible citizens. Our Leaders are volunteers, who have received training by NSW Scouts. A support Committee of parents and friends assist our group with fundraising and governance requirements.
If your children are interested in joining the Scouting family, they are welcome to come along to a meeting.
